Inspiration
At only 1,411’ elevation Red Mountain stands tall in the Mid-Columbias - south facing slopes boast wineries and sun while the north slope offers distant views of the Hanford Reach. Red Mountain AVA, Washington's smallest wine region appellation, is situated on the south-facing slope of Red Mountain, between the cities of Benton City and West Richland. About 700 acres are planted with wine grapes, which mainly include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet franc, Syrah and Sangiovese. The area is home to 37 wineries.
